How it works:
Shock Treatment dissolves stains and repairs hair by hydrating it from the inside out. For optimal results, use with the MLH hair care system.

Important notes:
- Do not use on the animal’s body. This product is for manes, tails, forelocks, and feather only.
- Do not rinse or brush hair during initial treatment. This is a leave-in treatment.
- Burnt stains cannot be removed. The hair must grow out, but this treatment will prevent further breakage and damage.
- Sticky residue is normal. The product works by layering, and a sticky feeling is to be expected.

Treatment protocols
For urine stains or brittle hair
- Prep: If hair is extremely dirty or has product residue (including oil-based sprays), wash first with
MLH Restore Shampoo. This deep cleanse allows Shock to penetrate effectively. Otherwise, skip this step.
- Apply: Use enough Shock to fully saturate and coat the hair. Apply 3 to 5 times a week for two weeks.
- Leave in: Do not rinse out or brush hair during this initial two-week period. Layer the Shock and work it into the hair.
- Wash: After two weeks, wash thoroughly with MLH Restore Shampoo, rinse, and apply MLH Conditioner. Rinse again.
- Finish: Once the hair is dry, apply MLH Polisher. Use the bottom-up technique to detangle and brush the hair.
- Repeat if necessary: If the hair still needs treatment, repeat the process.
For severe knots, tangles, or dreadlocks
- Prep: Do not wash or brush the hair before this treatment, as it can worsen knots and cause breakage.
- Apply: Saturate the hair with Shock and apply extra to severely knotted areas. Massage it in well.
- Treat: Reapply Shock daily for the next 3 to 5 consecutive days. The layering may make the hair sticky, which is normal.
- Detangle: After a few days, add MLH Polisher to the knots and begin carefully detangling with your fingers. Continue adding polisher as needed.
- Brush: Once the knots are removed, apply more Polisher and brush the hair using the bottom-up technique.

Love this product for my gray Arabian gelding. Really helps with keeping his white mane n tail actually white! Leaves his hair tangle free and soft. My only problem is me remembering to be consistent with the applications.
